The Better Denture

regain your confidence

Regain Your Confidence

Losing teeth can be an extremely emotionally distressing experience. However, it is natural–especially as we age. The good news is, modern technology makes it possible to retain your smile. At Digital Denture Centre, our dental prosthetists wield the power of computer-aided design and technology (CAD/CAM) to create full dentures fitted to your mouth. The result is a natural-looking, comfortable and secure set of teeth that will help you regain your confidence.

Our digital denture service is available for full, partial and immediate dentures. We can also repair and reline existing dentures. To find out more about our services or book an appointment at our clinic in Bendigo, please call us on 03 5454 3997.

Achieve a Beautiful, Functional Smile

A full denture is a removable prosthetic device used to replace all of the teeth in either the upper or lower jaw. Digital dentures are made from a high quality PMMA material that is 8 times harder than convenonal dentures and simulates the look and funcon of natural teeth. When created by a skilled dental prosthetist, full dentures can be virtually indistinguishable from your natural teeth.

Many people opt for full dentures after extensive tooth loss due to decay, gum disease or injury. Others may have congenitally missing teeth or need to have all their teeth extracted due to overcrowding. Whatever the reason, our team at Digital Denture Centre can help you achieve a beautiful, functional smile with our full digital denture service.

Full dentures rely on suction and natural pressure to stay in place. A well-made, properly fitting set of dentures should feel snug and secure but not tight. If your dentures are slipping or causing you pain, it’s important to see your dental prosthetist as soon as possible to have them adjusted.

Frequently Asked Questions

It usually takes a few weeks to get used to wearing full dentures. You may experience discomfort and difficulty eating and speaking during this time. However, these problems usually resolve as your mouth adjusts to the dentures.

You should brush your dentures at least once daily with a soft-bristled toothbrush and non-abrasive denture cleaner. Be sure to brush all surfaces of the dentures, including the inside surfaces that fit against your gums. You should also soak your dentures overnight in a denture cleanser to keep them clean and moist.

You may have to avoid certain foods, such as chewy or sticky foods, when you first start wearing dentures. As you get used to wearing your dentures, you should be able to eat most foods. Cut your food into small pieces and chew slowly and evenly.

Full dentures usually need to be replaced every five to seven years. However, they may need to be replaced sooner if they become loose, cracked, or chipped.
