Aesthetic & Functional Benefits

More affordable than implants and bridges, partial dentures are a popular solution for people missing one or more teeth. Eat and speak with confidence—we customise your partial digital dentures to look and feel natural, allowing you to enjoy all your favourite foods and activities again. Their lifelike appearance and function often mean you’ll forget you’re wearing them at all.

While partial dentures receive substantial praise for their visual aesthetics, they are also important for preventing the remaining teeth from shifting or tilting out of position. By filling the gaps in your smile, partial dentures reduce the risk of developing further dental problems down the track.

Our partial dentures are available in acrylic, metal and acetal resin.

Acrylic dentures: A lightweight, pink material that closely resembles gums. When fitted, the metal clasps holding the denture in place are hidden.

Metal dentures: Moulded to match the contours of your mouth, metal dentures are strong, durable and less visible than other types of partial dentures.

Acetal dentures: A opaque partial denture material, acetal is an ideal framework for patients that are sensitive or allergic to the free monomer used in acrylic denture base materials.

Frequently Asked Questions

A partial denture is a removable dental appliance used when one or more natural teeth remain in the upper or lower jaw. It fills in the spaces created by missing teeth and prevents other teeth from shifting position.

A partial denture usually consists of replacement teeth attached to pink or gum-coloured plastic bases, which are connected by a metal or acrylic framework that holds the denture in place in the mouth. Partial dentures are usually made by a dental lab technician working from impressions (moulds) of your teeth.

With proper care, your partial denture should last many years. However, it may eventually need to be relined, rebased or replaced due to normal wear.

You should brush your denture daily with a soft-bristled toothbrush and a non-abrasive denture cleanser to remove food debris and plaque. Be sure to brush your tongue, palate and gums as well. You should also soak your denture overnight in a mild denture cleanser solution to keep it moist and prevent it from drying out and losing its shape.
